Salary £34,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance, Laptop + Phone
Our Nottinghamshire based client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, growing business.
THE ROLE
The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for achieving sales and profit targets with both existing and new customers within your focus area. Other responsibilities will include:
* Sales of standard products, maintenance and repair contracts and rental activities are among the essential tasks.
* Optimally serve customers and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Have a quick ability to make (new) contacts, schedule appointments and show a proactive approach.
* Keep up to date with trends and developments to be well prepared at every opportunity and chance.
* Work in close cooperation with Project Teams, Inside Sales and other Account Managers.
* UK travel to customers will be frequent and the potential for occasional EU travel.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Business Development Manager will have a natural talent for relationship management and be able to demonstrate the following:
* Experience in a similar sales role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
* A proven track record in achieving sales targets and generating new business.
* A proactive and results-oriented attitude, with excellent communication skills.
* Logistical insight and the ability to understand and solve complex logistical issues of customers.
* Be able to work independently on the road without direct supervision.
