We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Lead who will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable Team within our Shared Services Organisation. The role ensures the effective management of the company’s AR processes, including the timely collection of outstanding debts, the accurate and timely posting of cash, and the management and development of the AR Team.
The AR Lead will conduct regular 121s, performance reviews, and other associated people processes, providing leadership and guidance as well as developing and implementing best practices to improve results, efficiency, and effectiveness within the AR process.
Relationships will be key in this role and there will be an expectation to attend stakeholder meetings and work with the various Business units to ensure that a high level of service is provided to our clients.
Main Duties:
1. Overall responsibility for all Accounts Receivables activities within the SSO.
2. Lead, coach, and motivate the AR team to achieve targets and maintain a productive environment.
3. Oversee the collection of outstanding debts and manage overdue accounts.
4. Act as the first main escalation point for disputes and issues.
5. Present KPIs, collection and project updates and analysis to a variety of different stakeholders.
6. Drive and influence projects within the SSO.
7. Liaise with Rhenus branches including occasional branch visits.
8. Attend Business unit review and dispute meetings.
9. Identify and implement improvements in the AR processes.
10. Improve AR procedures and processes by contributing to the development and improvement of credit control processes and assessment against AR best practice.
11. Work closely with Financial Systems and other Finance team members to drive standardisation and automation in processing and reporting.
12. Lead, supervise, and manage the performance of the AR Team.
13. Conduct 121, performance reviews, team meetings, and daily huddles along with other associated people processes in line with HR company policy.
14. Provide resource cover for Team members during absence periods.
15. Any other ad hoc tasks deemed appropriate for the role of Accounts Receivable Lead.
