Position: Experienced real estate dispute resolution solicitor.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate can expect to be responsible for:
1. Handling a wide range of contentious property matters for clients including property companies, corporate occupiers and private clients.
2. Such disputes would include those (a) arising out of residential and commercial leases; (b) arising out of the buying and selling of land; and (c) arising out of the development of land.

The successful candidate should:
1. want to take responsibility for his/her own cases, and be happy to develop good working relationships with clients;
2. feel free to bounce ideas off colleagues, and ask questions;
3. be able to carefully analyse information and reach sound decisions;
4. seek to recognise the commercial drivers and react accordingly;
5. recognise issues and problems that may arise and adapt (keeping clients and colleagues informed where necessary);
6. be able to listen and communicate effectively and succinctly both orally and in writing.
Quality Standards
The successful candidate will be expected to meet the Firm’s quality standards including:
1. ensuring that all chargeable work is properly recorded on client matters;
2. adhering to the Law Society’s client care directive and to the firm’s own policies as set out in the Office Manual;
3. maintaining good file management as set out in the Office Manual.

Develop own self-organisational and interpersonal skills so that:
1. work is prioritised and progressed;
2. there is a balance of working on own initiative and seeking advice/guidance from others.
Person Specification
Qualifications
1. Law degree (or conversion) and LPC.
2. Successful Admittance to the Roll of Solicitors.
3. 4-5 years PQE (indicative only). We would also be happy to consider more senior solicitors.
4. Candidates should be able to demonstrate property litigation experience.
