The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity to work for this dynamic construction consultancy. GCC delivers projects across the South of England, with a focus on Brighton and London.
You will work closely with the founder who is driven, personable and highly experienced. He will give you the autonomy to make decisions, whilst also instructing you clearly on each project.
Example projects include Office Conversions, Principal Designer duties for a hotel, heritage and residential renovations, new build projects, viability studies and cladding remediation.
This is an entrepreneurial business, with plans to grow, so this suits a driven person who is keen to build a great career.
The Role
1. Work on 2-3 construction projects at any one time, from inception to completion
2. Contract Administration including preparation of tender and contract documents, bills of quantities and contractual notices.
3. Establish client requirements, feasibility studies and viability reports
4. Cost Planning including labour, plant and material breakdowns
5. Carry out regular progress meetings and monthly project valuations
6. Advise on a procurement strategy and managing the tender process
7. Negotiate contracts and work schedules
8. Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
