We are looking for a People Partner at The Ivy Collection!
A key member of the People team, you will partner with the London Operations Directors, Operations Managers, Executive Chefs, and Area Chefs to support the people strategy and business culture across our fantastic Ivy Collection Restaurants.
Reporting into the Head of People, you will work to deliver key people metrics identifying areas of opportunity and people development across the Regions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering
* Developing strong partnering relationships with Senior Operators across the London Region to support teams in restaurants. Drive improvement in key people metrics and identify opportunities to improve business results and guest experience through developing restaurant teams.
* Support business culture role-modeling leadership and provide coaching and guidance to Operational leaders.
* Spend time in restaurants with business leaders to support them in developing and driving the performance of their teams.
* Deliver group training and coaching sessions as required to support restaurant-specific development needs. Building training sessions to address key areas of opportunity.
* General ad-hoc people administration, letter writing, and document creation. Responding to queries in a timely manner.
Employee Relations
* Provide coaching, support, and guidance on ER issues to Senior Operations Leaders working across Front of House and Back of House divisions.
* Supporting complex ER cases and claims through to conclusion.
* Working with 3rd party ER Advice services (Moorepay) to develop usable insights and strategic initiatives to address areas of risk and improve processes.
* Support managers and members of staff regarding general HR queries, company procedures, and policies.
* Developing and reviewing people policies to ensure that they support the business culture and are up to date with legislative changes.
Projects
* Leading people initiative and change projects across the Region and across UK restaurants.
* Leadership development.
* Partnering with the central HR Team to communicate and embed change.
Working Pattern
This is a field-based role working with and in our Restaurants, travelling between restaurants and our central London Support Office for meetings. While most of the working time will fall within standard working patterns, there may be times when you are required to be in restaurants in the evenings or at the weekend.
Key Skills Required
* L7 CIPD qualified.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in ER case handling within UK employment law, handling complex ER cases. Experienced in providing guidance to business leaders and coaching managers in ER processes and risk.
* Experience working in multi-site field HR roles is essential.
* A knowledge of the hospitality business and an understanding of basic people processes would be advantageous but not essential.
* Good knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required. The ability to interpret, understand, and create data and present findings to business leaders.
* Presentation skills and ability to deliver engaging group training sessions.
