Year 4 Class Teacher - Maternity Cover\n Location: South Sheffield\n Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (1 year)\n Start Date: July 2025\n Salary: Main Pay Scale (dependent on experience)\n\nAre you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and welcoming school? We are seeking a passionate Year 4 Teacher to join our multi-form entry primary school in South Sheffield on a maternity cover contract, starting in July 2025 for a period of one year.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nAs the Year 4 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged to reach their full potential. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, with additional responsibilities, including:\n\nPlanning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.\n\nAssessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing feedback and support.\n\nParticipating in after-school meetings and parent's evenings.\n\nWorking collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the wider school community.\n\nAbout You:\n\nTo be successful in this role, you will need:\n\nQualified Teacher Status (QTS).\n\nPrevious experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience is desirable but not essential).\n\nStrong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.\n\nA commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and ensuring the best outcomes for pupils.\n\nAbout the School:\n\nOur school is a multi-form entry primary located in South Sheffield, rated 'Good' by Ofsted.
