Job Description
The Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) team – part of Multi Asset Solutions (MAS) - is an investing group within the Asset Management Division at Goldman Sachs. It designs and develops comprehensive investment management solutions customised to meet the investment objectives and relevant constraints of clients. These solutions bring together state-of-the-art techniques for multi-asset portfolio design and implementation and reflect proprietary research and analytics conducted by the team. This role will be focused largely on our UK pension fund client base but opportunities exist to work with other institutional investors including insurance companies, charities and other international funds.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Your clients will primarily be UK pension funds that we service as a fiduciary manager/OCIO. You will become part of the UK based portfolio management team and interact frequently with a dedicated group of clients.
* Contribute to new business targets and be part of pitch teams.
* Provide a superior level of service across all aspects of the client experience, including portfolio reviews, management of client inquiries, ad hoc issue resolution, negotiation of customized and standardized report delivery, and leading and coordination of client meetings.
* Strong awareness of client interests and investment trends coupled with the intellectual curiosity to explore and research those areas in order to best deliver the resources of the firm to our clients.
* Modelling of client portfolios using our bespoke systems to analyse and evolve client portfolios.
Other required skills/experience:
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Experience working with pension funds or other institutional clients preferred.
* Interest in the financial services industry and desire to build knowledge of portfolio management and the markets.
* Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
* Strong project management skills including ability to organise and track multiple projects in parallel, delivery on tight timelines, and a hands-on approach to resolving issues.
Highly organised, with attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
