We are currently recruiting a full time experienced mechanic to join our friendly, long established, family run garage in Weymouth.
You will be required to carry out servicing, mechanical repairs, fault finding and diagnosis on all makes & models of vehicles and be competent at using diagnostic equipment.
A current Class 4 MOT certificate would be an advantage to cover holiday, sick and busy periods.
You will need to have good communication skills and the ability to converse professionally and appropriately with customers and colleagues alike both face to face and over the phone.
*Experienced mechanic (Qualified to level 3 - desirable)
*Qualified & experienced Class 4 MOT tester (Desirable)
* Must have a Full UK driving licence
* Experienced at mechanical repairs and servicing
* Competent at using Diagnostic equipment and diagnosing the fault
* Completing work in a timely, tidy and efficient manner
* Answering some workshop calls
* Working from the workshop computer system
* Working on your own and as part of a team
Competitive salary.
Hours of work are Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5pm.
