WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You will work in a team of engineers responsible for developing engineering solutions and concepts for a wide variety of projects including evaluating, selecting and calculating appropriate heavy lifting, transport and offshore operations.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is a full-time permanent position to be based at our office in Thornaby. Frequent international travel will be required as part of this role.
* Using your expertise to develop best-in-class engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects
* Working with both conventional methodologies and developing new approaches
* Preparing and selecting both existing and renewed engineering statements
* Developing drawings, calculations, visualizations, manuals, risk assessments and other key documents
* Ensuring efficient execution that delivers the right results for the customer
* International travel to project sites to oversee site setup and project execution
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
* Educated to degree level or above in Marine, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering (essential)
* Professional level experience in engineering operation practices and systems, HLT equipment, internal codes and standards
* Fluent proficiency in English, both verbal and written
* 1+ years relevant work experience
* Prepared to work away from home on a project basis
