Deskside Technician II
Key Responsibilities
1. Take initiative in managing, responding to, and owning incidents and tasks in the support queue, with a preference for ServiceNow knowledge.
2. Ensure accurate and timely tracking of incidents and calls, adhering to specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
3. Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting hardware issues on Lenovo PCs (Desktops/Laptops).
4. Possess experience in hardware support, including tasks such as printer setup and component replacement.
5. Exhibit the ability to resolve Windows 10 Operating System errors.
6. Show proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
7. Take ownership of IT Workplace Refresh projects.
8. Perform computer imaging tasks.
9. Manage desk setups and moves.
10. Possess network troubleshooting skills, including but not limited to; network patching (Cat6 & Fibre), TCP/IP commands & device installation in racks.
11. Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
12. Conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on electrical equipment.
Job Requirements
1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT Support Role.
2. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
3. Ability to work flexibly, efficiently, and independently.
4. Proven track record of owning projects and taking responsibility for their delivery.
5. Ability to translate technical information into language comprehensible to non-technical audiences.
6. Strong commitment to customer service and proven experience in building customer relationships.
7. Excellent organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
8. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
9. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Possession of a valid driving license/This role will be split within 2 sites.
