Position Title: Service Coordinator Department: LTSA Entity: CS e-STORAGE Reports To: Senior Service Manager Location: UK, Hybrid Position Summary: The Service Coordinator assists with preparing and coordinating the development and implementation of energy storage projects and associated Service Team supporting requirements, which will involve establishing and maintaining project management and procurement processes such as, Risk Assessment and Method Statement creation and tracking, Health and Safety regulations/qualifications tracker, Calibration register, Logistics interface, Spare Parts register/tracker. Knowledge of energy storage systems, engineering principles, project management processes, construction management processes, electrical codes and integrated photovoltaic and battery system applications would be highly desirable. Experience with project execution processes is essential. Responsibilities: Assist the Senior Service Manager and Service Manager with coordination of project and daily related activities. Assist the Senior Service Manager and Service Manager in developing project/daily plans and associated communications documents. Pro-actively assist with schedule development and tracking. Assist Service Manager with Risk Assessment and Method Statement documentation. Effectively develop and communicate Health and Safety regulations/qualifications tracker. Manage the Service Team Calibration register and ensure timely announcement of pending equipment calibration, minimizing equipment downtime. Liaise with Logistics service providers. Track deliveries, deal with queries. Take ownership of Spare Parts inventory management and reporting. Take ownership of Spare Parts inventory Annual Audits and reporting. Identify the critical path required to achieve a given task and manage until completion. Identify areas for process improvement and assist with creating and revising the process to ensure better efficiency and client experience. Review and verify documents for completeness, format, and compliance. Vet available vendors for site projects and assist with vendor invoices and any discrepancies. Send out RFQs for current and future work, requesting quantity and multiple-year discounts. Create and track purchase requests/purchase orders. Ensure the vehicle fleet is properly registered, insured and maintained. Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures. Complete other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline from a university or college Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Solid and effective interpersonal and communication skills (including oral, written, and visual) Strong organizational and time management skills; Acute awareness and ability to manage deadlines. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project Proficient with Scheduling in MS Project (P6 would be an asset) Accuracy and attention to detail a must. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally. Demonstrated independent thinking, initiative, and creativity. Ability to function successfully both independently and within a team. Demonstrated professional appearance and conduct. Ability to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends) as required. Valid Driver’s license, valid insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle. Some travel to projects may be required.
