The Opportunity
At A-SAFE, we are investing heavily to create a new people team structure and resources. As the Junior People Partner for our Manufacturing / Operations business area, you’ll tackle a wide variety of challenges head-on, from guiding managers through complex employee relations matters to driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention.
In this role, you will:
1. Partner with our Operations team leaders to provide strategic HR guidance and solutions.
2. Support organisational development initiatives that enhance team capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and drive business growth.
3. Manage complex employee relations issues, providing coaching to managers and ensuring fair, consistent application of company policies.
4. Support the design and execution of compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with A-Safe’s goals.
5. Implement employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys and focus groups, to gather feedback and improve the employee experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. CIPD Level 7 Qualified (or equivalent).
2. Proven experience in a business partnering role within HR, ideally in a manufacturing, engineering, or logistics environment.
3. Strong knowledge of UK employment law, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex employee relations issues.
4. Proficiency in HR information systems and data analysis, with experience using metrics to drive HR decision-making.
5. Strong experience with implementing performance management systems, competency frameworks, and development planning processes.
