St Cuthbert’s Early Learning & Childcare/St Cuthbert’s RC Primary School
An exciting opportunity has arisen at St. Cuthbert's Primary School Nursery. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team. As a 52-week provision, the nursery delivers Early Learning and Childcare to children from 3-5 years old, both in term time and over the school holidays.
The hours of work will be between 7.55am - 6.10pm Monday - Friday on a shift basis.
A sound knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence-Early Level and Realising the Ambition-Being Me is essential.
The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive staff team who are committed to providing a safe, secure and inclusive environment for all.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
