OCU have opportunities for distribution Linesmen to join our overhead lines team based in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Linesman to strengthen our new connections OHL division. You will predominantly be working at LV and 11kV, but also completing a smaller amount of 33kV projects. Existing Scottish and Southern Energy Networks operational authoriation is a must, and this can be further developed on with in house training. The role is within our Power division working on our SSEN New Connections framework. Based out of our Reading depot, covering the entire M4 corridor from the M25 to Bath. Responsibilities Carrying out OHL operational activities – constructing new, upgrading existing and dismantling old network for new underground cables at LV, 11kV and 33kV.
