SEN Teacher Position | September Start | North Hampshire SEN School
Location: North Hampshire (Primary & Secondary SEN School)
Pay: £120 - £170 per day Supply/cover rate (Paid to Scale for Long-Term Role)
In view of September, we are recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Class join a highly regarded SEN Schoold in North Hampshire. This long term position is set to start in September and could cover both primary and secondary aged children with special educational needs. The role offers the chance to make a real difference to the lives of young learners in a supportive, dynamic environment.
Role Overview:
* Position Type: Long-term, Full-Time (starting September)
* Location: North Hampshire (SEN school catering to both primary and secondary age groups)
* Pay: £120 - £170 per day, paid weekly (or paid to scale for long-term/Temp-to-Perm bookings)
* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (school hours)
About the School: The school caters to a diverse range of pupils with various special educational needs, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and language difficulties, moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). The school takes a holistic approach to education, promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for this role
* A background in teaching children with SEN, ideally in both primary and secondary age groups, but we encourage mainstream teachers looking for a new challenge
* Experience working with children who have Autism (ASD), Speech and Language difficulties, MLD, or SEMH
* Strong classroom management skills and a compassionate, adaptable teaching style
* The ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment tailored to individual needs
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain at your own cost)
* A passion for inclusive education and a dedication to supporting students to achieve their full potential
