The role of Bar Manager is key to our success. A can-do attitude and not being afraid to muck in is essential. You will be supporting the effective set up and operation of the bar areas and leading a team of skilled Bartenders and Bar Staff.,
* Be visible on the bar floor, overseeing the running and efficiency of our bar and lounge service.
* Engaging with guests at every level and actively gaining feedback.
* Lead by example, setting an energetic pace and standard for the team.
* Encourage high standards of service
* Carry out opening/closing procedures of the bar, including cashing up.
* Lead by example, train and develop the bar teams service skills.
* Maintain excellent knowledge of our menu's, including local products & suppliers.
* Create a 'can do' and positive atmosphere amongst the team.
* Resolving guest queries or concerns, identifying and addressing issues before they become complaints.
You will need to have a proactive attitude towards working on the floor, behind the bar and supporting the entire bar team with their knowledge and development along with a strong knowledge of beverages, from classic cocktails to spirits, beers, and wines. Ideally, you will enjoy keeping up with current trends and have natural creativity when it comes to serving guests., The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years' experience working a busy Bar environment with demonstrable experience of leading a team on the floor. We require a real communicator, who has honesty, integrity, and the ability to read a room, always ensuring efficient and consistent levels of service.
