Are you looking for a new job where you can make a difference every day? If you are keen for a fresh challenge then we want to hear from you!
Our fabulous #TeamWeavers is on the lookout for a caring and motivated colleague with a good sense of humour to join them as a Support Practitioner on a permanent full-time (36 hours per week) basis.
The Role
As a Support Practitioner, you'll support individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, support to activities and appointments, managing personal finances, assisting with medication, and personal care.
You'll also need to take an active part in their hobbies and interests, which include exploring new locations, going for walks, listening to music, and arts & crafts. With your guidance and support, you'll help the people we support to maintain their own homes and be active members of their local community.
We're looking for you to be enthusiastic and creative when supporting their hobbies, which include karaoke, arts and crafts, live music, going for walks, and shopping, along with many more activities.
About You
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll pay you for your training and even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!
What we need you to bring:
* A caring and compassionate attitude
* The ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative
* A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
* Confidence in the use of computers
Shift Patterns
As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual, shift patterns usually fall within the hours of 0730-2200 hours and will include weekend and public holiday working on a rotational basis. Occasional waking nights may also form part of your rota if night cover is needed.
Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today; we can't wait to hear from you!
