We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of IT with our client to help deliver an ambitious IT roadmap.

They tailor their proposition depending on their service or commercial requirements.
What you’ll be doing
KCT has recently refreshed their IT Strategy and has a clear vision for the technology that will support its growth. You will help deliver an exciting and ambitious roadmap for developing the systems needed in 2025 and beyond.
The Head of IT
* Working closely with the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Management Team to ensure effective implementation of the IT Strategy and achievement of targets.
* Leading and managing IT change projects across the business, being accountable for project plans, liaising with stakeholders, maintaining project documentation, and reporting status to the Senior Management Team.
* Leading the IT team in delivering:
o Comprehensive internal IT support, managing relationships with key IT providers, overseeing laptops, peripherals, telephony, and business applications, while ensuring robust IT controls are in place to protect the business and its data.
o Software development for applications used by the business, including Proclaim (the legal case management system), external-facing portal, management information reports, and data warehouse, ensuring development time is accurately recorded to enable the business to capitalize on IT costs where possible.
* Line-managing the IT Team, providing day-to-day people management, progression planning, objective setting, evaluation, and team leadership.
They are a fast-paced business, and roles may change over time. You should be prepared to perform any tasks or duties reasonably assigned to you.
The ideal candidate:
* Experience managing IT projects.
* Experience line-managing an IT team.
* Extensive experience in an IT support or development environment.
* STEM degree or equivalent experience.

Salary: up to £50K per annum D.O.E
Location: Bristol City Centre, Hybrid post-probation
Hours: Typical office hours are 9am – 5pm (flexible working supported)
Start date: Flexible, ASAP preferred.
