As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher. Your role will involve delivering pre-prepared lessons, maintaining classroom order, and providing essential support to students across a variety of subjects. The ideal Cover Supervisor will have excellent communication skills, strong classroom management abilities, and a passion for education.

Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
* Supervise classes and deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of a teacher
* Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task
* Manage any behaviour issues that may arise
* Follow school policies and procedures
* Maintain accurate records of student progress
Requirements of a Cover Supervisor:
* A degree or Level 3 qualification with solid standards of literacy and numeracy
* Experience working or volunteering with children or young people
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to manage behaviour effectively
* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
* Flexibility and adaptability
Registrations required to be a Cover Supervisor:
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
