Chelmer Medical Partnership has an opportunity for a reception administrator to join our busy practice support teams across three of our surgeries and assist in the smooth delivery of excellent patient care. The three sites are, Humber Road Surgery, Melbourne House Surgery and Tennyson House Surgery. This role is offered on a part-time basis for 20.5 hours a week. The shift patterns are; Monday 1pm - 6.30pm, T hursday 1.30pm - 6.30pm and Friday 8am - 6.30pm. The successful candidate must be flexible to be able to work extra hours to support colleague’s sickness and holiday absence. In this essential front-line position, the role is responsible for ensuring that appointment bookings are well-managed, a safe high-quality service is delivered to our patients, patient queries are answered and administration work is completed to a high standard. Applicants should have the following skills and experience: An excellent telephone manner. An experienced receptionist/administrator, with excellent IT, time management and organisational skills. Ability to communicate effectively, working in a confidential and discreet manner. Ability to problem solve, work efficiently and maintain a high level of attention to detail, when under pressure. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as independently.
