Team/Specialism: Family Placements
Pay Rate: £37 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract: Locum, 3-Month contract
Hours: Full-time
Main duties of the Social Worker:
* Hold a case load of foster carers and carry out statutory work, supervision and offer support to carers
* Work as part of a team and be part of the duty and back up service
* Undertake visits to meet service needs
Requirements of the Social Worker:
* Degree or equivalent in social work
* Current Social Work England registration
* Significant frontline experience in Children's Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
* Post qualifying experience in working with looked after children and ideally in the fostering service too
* We operate a hybrid working arrangement; however, candidates must be able to be office based in Bolton or undertake visits to meet service needs
