What you’ll be doing
1. Ensure the lobby area, concierge and front desk create a clean and welcoming environment for guests
2. Ensure all the external fire doors are locked after 11pm. Ensure security of the property at all times.
3. Answer At Your Service (switch board) and complete administrative tasks as required
4. Cleaning of back and front of house areas as required
5. Complete guest wake up calls on time
6. Attending to guest requests, assisting with baggage and preparing rooms if required
7. Assisting room service
8. Complete check lists thoroughly and correctly on a nightly basis.
9. Be aware of all accounting and auditing practices relevant to the front office
10. Support the night reception when necessary
11. Be proactive in carrying out tasks and checklists
12. Carry out work delegated by the Night Managers efficiently and correctly
What we’re looking for
13. Previous experience working within a hotel Front Office or similar customer service environment preferred
14. Night worker experience preferred
15. Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
16. Innovative
17. Pro-active, reliable and flexible
18. Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
19. Positive outlook
This is a full time position (40 hours per week) working night shifts.
