Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for 2x fitters on a initial 2 month contract based in Norfolk
Role Summary
Main purpose of the job
1. This is a supporting role (sometimes Trainee) working as part of a Team to assist installation activities on Mechanical or Electrical installation, including cable pulling.
2. Reports to Chargehand or Site Supervisor as required by deployment.
3. Duty of care for themselves and all individuals on site to ensure that they work safely at all times.
Key Tasks
1. Works to all applicable procedures as briefed in the site induction.
2. Carries out any other duties within their competence to the relevant quality / industry standards as directed by the Site Supervisor.
3. Operate within timescales set out by their Work Party Leader and highlight potential deviations in advance.
Key results/ Objectives
1. Adhere to the site rules as briefed to them by the Chargehand, Site Supervisor & Site Manager
2. Comply with the Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality Plans and know their duties to be discharged in each case. Carrying out actions and assist in creating required documentation within the project milestone dates
3. Proactively participate in the completion of all task cards allocated to their team to the required timescale and comply with timesheet and expenses submission timescales.
Requirements
Experience Ideally 1 year’s experience as part of a team on an Electricity Supply Industry construction site or similar (Power Generation, Oil & Gas or General Construction Sites). Experienced preferred in participating in site activities comprising of mechanical and electrical installation activities. Comply with health, safety, quality, and environmental legislation / practice within a substation environment, for example, National Grid, SSE, SPEN etc. Requires the presence and personal qualities necessary to effectively work within a team or individually as re-quired.

CSCS Card / CCNSG Safety Passport.
Manual Handling.
Working at Height.
Fire safety awareness Client specific (NG for example only)
