Community Dental Services has a part-time vacancy for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join their clinic based at Bridlington Hospital. The successful candidate will form part of a well-established team assisting dental clinicians providing dental treatment for Paediatric and Adult patients who meet the referral criteria and can not accept treatment in a general dental practice.
The applicant will be resilient, and well organised and have the ability to work under pressure in a busy clinic, supporting dental clinicians with complex dental treatments whilst supporting the patient and keeping them and/or their appropriate adult involved in treatment options. The applicant will also be responsible for carrying out Infection Prevention & Control measures following HTM01-05 and company specific general standard operating procedures. If qualified in Dental Radiography and/or Dental Sedation these skills would be utilised throughout the clinic when support in that area is required. The ideal candidate would be good under pressure and have excellent written and verbal communication, IT skills, and a great team player who enjoys communicating well with patients.
