FILM & SMART SURFACE SOLUTIONS (F&SSS)
Film & Smart Surface Solutions (F&SSS) are currently active in more than 50 countries. The main production location is in the UK, with plans in place to realize a second production location in Asia. Our R&D and Technical centers are already in all three territories, Americas, Asia and Europe.
Our target for the F&SSS division is to become the market leader in the in-mold electronics space for the automotive industry. As the industry transitions to unprecedented new levels of vehicle connectivity and autonomy, the consumer demand for clear and efficient control and information presented as part of a stunning automotive interior at the human-machine interface, grows rapidly. Our most recent division capitalizes on emerging trends in human-machine interfaces, displays and in-mold electronics in the automotive industry. The division combines our extensive offering of specialty films for the industrial and automotive industries with our developing portfolio of flexible and formable conductive and non-conductive inks. Who are we looking for?
As Engineering Administrator at out manufacturing site in Wantage, you will play a crucial role in supporting the engineering department with general administration. This will include assisting with the booking in of planned and reactive maintenance work, day-to-day administrative duties and completing purchase / order requisitions.
Support the site Facilities Supervisor with recording of waste data ready for monthly waste reporting.
Support and assist the Maintenance Scheduler ensuring the effective execution of maintenance work.
Help manage the site computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure information held is up to date with all maintenance and Calibration records LOLER Inspections, make sure scrapped assets are deleted, and new assets are added.
What will you be doing?
General Administration for the engineering department.
Obtaining quotes and raising purchase orders for the engineering department as well as liaising with suppliers via email and phone.
Assisting with the administration of the CMMS, adding on new assets and removing of any scrapped assets. As well as uploading any Service, Calibration and LOLER Reports
Filing and scanning of completed Work Orders.
Filing of reviewed Contractor Risk Assessments and Insurance Documents.
Support the Facilities Supervisor with the Monthly Reporting of waste though waste transfer notes.
Assist with the supplier management and booking in of planned and reactive maintenance visits on forklift trucks (FLT), industrial doors and facilities cleaning activities.
Assisting the maintenance scheduler with Contractor management through inductions and permits to work.
Who are You?
Minimum Education GCSE (or equivalent) with Maths & English
A strong background in Administration. Previous experience in a manufacturing or facilities environment would be advantageous
What competencies will you need?
Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage with both internal and external customers.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Competent user of MS Office applications.
Experience in using a CMMS System is desirable.
