A pivotal role supporting International Motors to establish a New Energy Vehicle brand within the UK market. Job Summary
You will provide an essential support function across all areas of marketing including national marketing campaigns, retailer marketing support and brand communications – assisting the Head of Brand Marketing where required to help drive awareness of the brand and support the sale of vehicles in line with business objectives. A key requirement of this role is campaign coordination, the Marketing Executive will be expected to own the central calendar of activity and events to ensure consistency across channels and maximum impact of messages. Working with the support of internal Events, PR and Digital teams, alongside external agencies for Website Development, Creative and Media.
Responsibilities
1. Help deliver and communicate a brand platform that meets the product and company objectives.
2. Help deliver both the B2B and B2C customer journey in terms of seamless communication online and off-line.
3. Responsible for forecasting and tracking spend against set departmental budget, with Senior Business Partner.
4. Support with the delivery of departmental KPIs in line with company objectives and product performance, with focus on driving enough leads to generate sales.
5. Ownership of the channel and communications plan including ongoing calendar of national and regional marketing activities, supporting the delivery of a cohesive, cross channel marketing strategy.
6. To brief agencies to ensure content meets the expectations of the brand objectives.
7. Coordinate the production of artwork, images, videos, text that is required for all areas of the business.
8. Support the delivery of all paid media activity across traditional and digital channels.
9. Support partnerships with individuals and organisations to maximise brand exposure.
10. Support the maintenance of a brand website.
11. Manage the creation and approval of required social media content and creative.
12. Working with the sales department to ensure retailers have the correct brand and marketing materials that is consistent with brand platform and national campaigns.
13. Support retail network with execution of local marketing activities in line with local objectives and national marketing campaigns.
14. To produce materials to promote Aftersales, Accessories and Parts sales.
15. Support with creating measurements and reports to identify marketing effectiveness.
16. To produce management reports and presentations as when required by the senior management.
Minimum Requirements
1. 2 years’ experience within marketing department or marketing agency, preferably with motor industry experience (not essential) or, degree educated preferably with a business or marketing background.
2. Experience in social media, its role in the marketing mix, and how to use it to best effect.
3. Ability to analyse data, formulate messaging and communicate information effectively.
4. Excellent people skills.
