This post is seeking somebody with significant skills and experience in application packaging and support, using current, enterprise grade modern management tools, such as ConfigMgr (aka Microsoft Endpoint Manager Configuration Manager / MEMCM / SCCM) and Intune. Experience across a variety of scalable delivery methods to a variety of target platforms including Windows, macOS, IOS, Linux and Android is being sought. Experience with the use of Cloudpaging is highly desirable with skills in application virtualisation technologies also beneficial.
The Service Delivery Engineer role is based within our Digital Operations team, which is responsible for the operational delivery and support of IT services. Engineers are an escalation point for Service Delivery Analysts and work in collaboration with Digital Architecture on the operational delivery of designs/strategies as efficient and effective technical solutions. Engineers are key to the ongoing maintenance of business-critical IT systems and strive for continuous improvement, providing feedback to influence technological advancements in collaboration with Architects and key service owners.
You must have significant experience of delivering and maintaining applications on a large enterprise scale, with skills and experience within other disciplines being highly beneficial.
There will be opportunities to work on complex problems and form part of multidisciplinary teams on projects both large and small, so professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills are a must.
