You must have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to show you are self- motivated and flexible in your approach to your work to meet the requirements for our developing service. You must already be registered as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council for a minimum of 2 years and hold or be working towards and independent prescribing qualification. You are expected to work within key performance indicators as part of the service provision and show you can work on your own initiative, with other Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Assistants, Nursing staff, Medical staff and other healthcare professionals in line with the Hospitals Trust Values. To support your development, full local training will be provided on medicines management and within an emergency care setting to the successful candidate and your development needs will be identified through an annual individual performance development review. You will work closely with the Pharmacists and wider multidisciplinary team within the Emergency Department to deliver high quality, patient focused medicines management services.
