Key Responsibilities:
Performing hand lay-up of composite materials to build aerospace components
Working with pre-preg and wet lay-up techniques
Ensuring that all work is carried out according to technical specifications and quality standards
Inspecting materials and finished products for defects
Collaborating with engineers and other team members to ensure project success
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Documenting work processes and maintaining accurate records
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency
Job Requirements:
Experience in laminating and working with composite materials
Strong understanding of pre-preg and wet lay-up techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to composites
Previous experience in the aerospace industry is preferred but not essential
