The Head of Delivery will be responsible for ensuring all delivery performance goals and cost commitments are met. The HoD works with business partners to develop, implement and lead a customer-centric operational model driving best-in-class quality. The HoD ensures effective delivery of services, proactively managing issues that could impact delivery, identifying and driving optimization while managing scope, resources, cost of delivery, and coordination.
The Head of Delivery understands the requirements of the business and is expected to analyze delivery requirements and contribute to the strategic business plan.
Principal Duties:
1. Accountable for "how" services/products are delivered to the business, ensuring we meet business needs.
2. Ensures and delivers a holistic approach to delivery across all portfolios, encompassing support, testing, Agile/Waterfall methodology, requirements gathering, and operating model.
3. Contribute strategically to the delivery management methodology, ensuring current and future business requirements are accommodated.
4. Drives resolution of difficult situations that have significant business impact.
5. Produce, deliver, and monitor a model for recharge of central services to countries/regions.
6. Own the PI planning ceremonies.
7. Lead development of the organizational business operating plan.
8. Apply broad technical and business experience and knowledge of the industry to drive organizational direction and strategies.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, business, engineering).
* Great people skills paired with a high level of assertiveness.
* Very good communication skills with management and senior management as well as with colleagues.
* High-level motivational skills to manage virtual teams.
* Strong analytical, strategic, and coordinating skills.
* Ability to manage multiple products and projects simultaneously.
* Sound knowledge and understanding of business and technology.
* Experience in the technology or software industry.
