Locum Appointment for Training in Haematology at ST3(+) Level
Full time (40 hours per week)
Fixed term to 5th August 2025.
Salary Scale - £45,504 - £71,550 per annum (pro rata if part time)

Applications are invited for Locum Appointments for Training (LAT Specialty registrar ST3) in Haematology at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The post is available for 6 months from 5th February 2025 to 5th August 2025. The Haematology Department in Forth Valley Royal Hospital provides District General Haematology training to trainees as part of the West of Scotland Haematology Specialist Training Programme and integrates fully with the specialty training programme at an appropriate level. The successful candidates will receive an excellent introduction to the specialist care of patients with Haematological disorders and malignant diseases along with the appropriate laboratory training.
The appointment will be on a full-time, fixed term basis and remuneration will be determined by the pay and conditions of hospital medical and dental staff (NHS Circular: PCS (DD) 2024/01).
The successful applicant will be part of the Haematology team. The department currently includes 7 consultant haematologists: Dr Rachel Boulton-Jones, Dr Katrina Farrell, Dr Hugh Edwards, Dr Katharine Hanlon, Dr Emma Stewart, Dr Katy Parsons and Dr Robbie McNeil. In addition the department has 2 Haematology CNSs and 2 Haematology ANPs.
