Domiciliary Care Assistant
Location: Oxlip House, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Pay rate: £12.28 per hour (Weekend enhancements available)
About the Role
Do you want greater flexibility over your working hours? This role offers bank contracts that are flexible and non-permanent, with no guaranteed hours. You can choose when to work, allowing you to balance other commitments such as studies, another job, or caring responsibilities. If you're looking to gain experience in the care sector without a permanent commitment or to maintain your skills during semi-retirement, this is an excellent opportunity.
Our Extra Care Housing schemes, also known as assisted living, consist of self-contained apartments designed to promote independence. Clients have their own front doors and can socialize or enjoy privacy as they prefer. Our care teams support clients with daily tasks and activities, providing domiciliary care.
As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will make a real difference by assisting with daily routines, personal care, companionship, and light household duties, ensuring clients lead happy, fulfilled lives. All clients live within the same building, so travel between locations is unnecessary.
