Product Governance Manager - Insurance Location: Fully remote Rate: £500 per day (outside IR35) Duration: 6 months A FCA background is essential and non-negotiable. About the Role: An international telecommunications organisation is seeking an experienced Product Governance Manager to ensure that they are compliant in selling regulated products within the requirements set out by the FCA. You will ensure that the organisation adheres to the FCA/ICOBS rules and that they have robust governance and controls in place to maintain compliance. Key Responsibilities: Adherences to FCA / ICOBS regulatory frameworks. Ownership of regulatory product issues. You must enable that there is ongoing governance and control. Ensure that products are compliant within FCA / ICOBS / Product frameworks. Support audit and compliance reviews and actions. Provide input to monthly regulatory governance forums and pack collation. Analyse the current regulatory positions of the organisations products. Competencies, Knowledge and Experience: You must be comfortable with the current FCA/ICOBS rules and possess good knowledge of them. Possess the ability to keep up to date with new regulatory changes. Able to perform analysis on products through the lens of regulation. A customer focussed approach to regulatory governance of the products. High-level experience in financial services within a product governance role. Experienced in working on product lifestyle in a highly regulated environment. A deep understanding of customer needs that spans over five years. Banking and other financial industry experience is transferable. This experience must be within a product governance role.
