HR Business Partner Leeds – hybrid and with UK wide travel Perm Competitive salary benefits Summary We are seeking a HR Business Partner to work closely with our IT Services division. You will be leading the HR delivery, working closely with the Head of HR for the Services Division and, Business Unit MD and their Senior Leadership Team to drive business performance and operational delivery. The role will join a high performing HR operations team who working with their colleagues in the Group HR Department add value to the businesses they support. The HR function is constantly looking to continuously improve and help drive the success of the organisation – last year the HR team were finalists for 2 awards at the Yorkshire Excellence in HR Awards. Some of the key deliverables include: Work with the other HR specialisms in the department to develop, coach and support managers in operational issues to include recruitment, contract acquisition and demobilisation (TUPE), discipline and grievance, employee relations, learning and development with a focus on behaviours and business performance. Produce and implement business strategy aligned people plans to address business objectives and drive organisational performance Assist in the development of service level agreements and project plans as required to deliver the people aspect of projects and support the implementations of solutions. Build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the business, actively seeking feedback to evaluate and improve relationships. Manage and Develop the HR Advice Partner reporting into this role Actively exploit opportunities, spotting where and how HR can deliver and contribute to SMART solutions. Commercially aware you will be able to provide value through pragmatic, business-oriented solutions. Monitoring, measuring and reporting on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements, through timely HR data management / analysis, leveraging data to enable fact-based data driven decision making and improve people practices Coaching and being their trusted advisor, not just on people issues, but on business decisions and direction. When providing advice, always ensure employment legislation is balanced alongside a commercial based approach. Be at the heart of strategic initiatives driving everything from on org design, workforce planning, talent development providing insights and recommendations What we’d like you to have: Proven experience in a HR Advisor/ Business Partner role Demonstrable experience in working with Senior Leadership/Exco/SLT teams Experienced in managing and delivering small and medium scale TUPE projects (in and out), in a service provision environment Broad HR experience and knowledge of key HR processes.
