An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced individual to join our operational HR team working 28 hours per week. Under the guidance of the Senior Human Resources Manager, you will provide operational human resources support in a professional, timely and consistent manner to designated areas of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health & Care NHS Trust.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels and a confident approach are essential.
The role will offer hybrid working and involve working from home as well as attendance in the office or other Trust sites. It is essential applicants can fulfil the travel requirements of the post across the Counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Main duties of the job
This job is varied and no two days will be the same, so your ability to juggle multiple priorities will be crucial. You could be supporting managers with organisational change programmes or employee relations issues, such as health, grievance or disciplinary and performance management. Your advice will be consistent with Trust policies and in accordance with best practice and current employment legislation.
You will act as a role model within the HR team and for the team both within the Trust and externally, demonstrating the Trust values at all times.
You must have significant recent experience in a similar employee relations role, along with up-to-date knowledge of current employment legislation.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Level 5 CIPD qualified or above, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
* Evidence of CIPD Membership
* Evidence of ongoing CPD
* I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer
Knowledge
* Current UK and European employment law
* Good knowledge of current NHS employment issues
* Knowledge of diverse terms and conditions of service within the NHS
Additional Criteria
* Ability to fulfil the travelling requirements of the post

Experience
* Significant recent experience in a similar employee relations role
* Significant recent experience in generalist HR issues advising on terms and conditions and application of policies and procedures
* Demonstrable experience of working in recruitment or HR function
* A proven track record in HR in the NHS and/or the Public Sector
