Service Design Transition Architect A leading retailer are looking for a Service Design Transition Architect to join a major transformation project. As the Service Design Transition Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of a ground-breaking programme across the business. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in being hands-on, within a dynamic environment and has a proven track record of building IT Service Management (ITSM) capabilities from scratch whilst following ITIL best practice. With an August go-live date, this is a unique opportunity to deliver an end-to-end service. Skills/Responsibilities: Design and Deliver ITSM Capabilities: Build robust ITSM processes and service capabilities to support the programmes successful rollout. ITIL: Apply ITIL principles and practices to ensure effective Service Transition and Operational Readiness. Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent stakeholder management, Interacting with internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, business unit, C-Suite and third-party supplier Programme Delivery: Drive hands-on service design and transition activities, working collaboratively in an environment with minimal project management support. Maturity Development: Elevate ITSM maturity in a team that is in its early stages of development. Problem-Solving: Address challenges creatively and ensure service designs are pragmatic, scalable, and fit for purpose. Calming Leadership: Balance a strong personality with a composed approach to influence and guide a diverse range of stakeholders. Hands-On Experience: Proven track record of delivering new ITSM services involving external parties, ideally in large-scale, high-pressure environments. Delivery Mindset: A self-starter who can roll up their sleeves and get the job done without needing extensive support.
