Overall Objectives of the Post:
To assist in the delivery of a high quality ‘seamless’ cleansing and grounds maintenance initiative.
Working within the Greenspace team to inspect and deliver services with an ad-hoc team also contract monitoring.
Key Tasks of the Post:
You will be responsible for delivering a high quality, customer focussed service. You will:
Assist in the delivery of a seamless grounds maintenance and street cleansing service.
Work alongside Streetscene team to ensure an improved environment for all.
Assist in ensuring satisfactory consultation is achieved with relevant stakeholders including Residents Associations, End Users, Council Members and Officers.
Investigate and solve customer and member enquiries and complaints.
Assist in the preparation and recording of data, relating to relevant performance indicators
You will be responsible for contributing to a great team. You will:
Keep Managers and other colleagues well informed to enable works and activities to be co-ordinated across services.
Demonstrate total professionalism and value diversity.
You will be responsible for managing a Work Programme. You will:
Assist the Streetscene team in regular monitoring and formal reporting of all grounds maintenance related activities.You will be responsible for making a corporate contribution. You will:
Relate your work to the members and people of the Borough in a way that makes sense
Attend meetings as required by the needs of the section and assist in the preparation of reports to officers and members of the Council.
