Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Surrey, Redhill Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide specialised instruction to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities. Implement teaching strategies to support students with SEN in achieving academic goals. Assess and monitor students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary. Collaborate with other educators, parents, and professionals to support students' learning and development. Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with students with SEN. Understanding of SEN policies and procedures. Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Experience: Prior experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role. Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of different learning needs and abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student requirements. Knowledge of relevant educational technology and resources. Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs. Additional training in specific learning disabilities. Working Conditions: This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in an educational setting in South East England. The environment may include classrooms, one-on-one tutoring sessions, and meetings with parents and professionals.
