As a Trainee Teacher, you will work alongside experienced teaching staff, gaining hands-on experience in the classroom while supporting students with a range of additional needs. Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering lessons to students with SEN, adapting materials and resources to meet individual needs.
* Work with small groups and individual students, helping them to engage in their learning and overcome challenges.
* Assist with planning and preparing lessons, ensuring that they are tailored to students’ specific requirements.
* Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and assist with assessments where necessary.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
* Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience for all students.
Requirements:
* PGCE, QTS, NVQ or equivalent qualification.
* A passion for supporting students with SEN and a genuine desire to become a teacher.
* Previous experience working with SEN students is advantageous but not essential.
* A willingness to learn and develop teaching skills under the guidance of experienced staff.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
* Part-time arrangements may also be arranged for the right candidate.
