Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading manufacturer of material handling equipment, automation & robotics seeking a graduate Robotics Applications Engineer. Responsibilities
* Installing & commissioning of driverless systems (AGV’s) at customer sites across the UK & Ireland
* Testing and validating these solutions and undertaking proof of concept configuration
* Using programming languages such as KIWI, C, C++, MATLAB or Python
* Designing customer material flow processes in relation to AGV’s
* Assessing and implementing damage analysis
* Providing customers with technical support post sale
Requirements
The company has a preference for an individual with a qualification in a programming language, to include KIWI, C, C++, MATLAB or Python, as this will be essential for the requirements of the role. The role would suit a recent graduate with a degree in robotics, mechatronics or similar. It is essential for the requirements of the role that you hold a full, clean UK driver’s license and be willing to spend extensive time travelling the UK. There will also be requirements to travel to Europe on occasion. The company is open to applications from candidates based anywhere in the UK.
