About the Role:
The Market Strategy and Insights Manager will lead efforts in understanding market dynamics, customer perspectives, and competitive landscapes relevant to our business. This role is instrumental in shaping our strategic direction by providing actionable insights and supporting both organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
As a key member of the team, you will drive market research, competitor analysis, and customer insight initiatives, delivering clear recommendations that support decision-making across Zotefoams.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Market and Competitive Analysis:
* You will conduct full market mapping to identify key trends, growth opportunities, and competitive threats.
* Define and regularly update our competitive position, including mapping and ongoing tracking of key competitors.
* Provide market pricing insights to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitiveness.
1. Customer Insights:
* Lead customer insight initiatives, including primary research such as customer surveys and Net Promoter Score (NPS) implementation.
* Maintain a deep understanding of customer perceptions, ensuring the business has a constant pulse on customer feedback.
2. Strategic Opportunity Identification:
* Identify trends and dynamics within the market, including tailwinds and other influencing factors. In addition to product development opportunities and highlight potential gaps or weaknesses in our portfolio.
* Generate actionable insights and hypotheses to support innovation and strategy development.
3. Research and Coordination:
* Collaborate with third-party providers and research partners to enhance data collection and analysis.
* Support the development of the company’s inorganic growth strategy through thorough research and market insights.
4. Insight Integration:
* Synthesise findings into clear, impactful recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
* Work closely with internal teams to align insights with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
Experience and desirable skills:
* Minimum Degree level of equivalent.
* Knowledge of competitive analysis frameworks, market mapping techniques, and strategic planning.
* Proven experience in market research, strategy, or insights within a commercial or strategic role.
* Experience in conducting customer surveys, NPS programs, and other primary research methods.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to filter complex data into actionable insights.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, written and verbal.
* Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
* The ability to develop and maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
