Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager (M&E Experience Essential) Location: Oxford Salary: Up to £75,000 (Permanent Role) Our client, a prominent figure in the construction and engineering industry, is looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects. This is a permanent, site-based position in Oxford, offering a competitive salary of up to £75,000. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all mechanical aspects of M&E projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. Lead and coordinate project teams, including contractors, engineers, and site personnel, to ensure seamless communication and project delivery. Develop project schedules, forecasts, and financial reports, keeping all stakeholders updated on progress and any emerging risks. Ensure site health and safety compliance, adhering to relevant regulations and best practices. Engage with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to offer technical advice and swiftly resolve any project-related challenges. Supervise the installation and testing of all M&E systems to ensure they meet design specifications and quality benchmarks. Manage procurement processes and material logistics, ensuring timely delivery of necessary resources to the site. Key Requirements: Proven experience in managing M&E projects within the mechanical engineering or construction industries. In-depth understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, pipework, and their electrical integrations. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines. Effective leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and managing teams to achieve project success. Proficiency in project management software and industry-related tools.
