Laboratory Administrator
Salary: Up to £27,000pa
Location: LE11 2PZ
Benefits: 33 days holiday, Mon to Thurs 8.30am till 5pm, Fri 8.30am till 4.30pm, Pension, Training, Parking, Permanent
Due to continued success and rapid expansion plans, a head office location has an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Administrator to join them. You will provide support to the Laboratory Manager:
1. Liaising with outsourcing manufacturing site and arranging samples of products for quality testing
2. Record testing results on in-house database
3. Raising awareness of any negative results, requesting a retest if needed
4. Support production with carrying out quality control testing
5. Compiling information reports
6. Arrange distribution of samples for customers
7. Open complaint investigations, completing all relevant documentation
8. All general administration duties related to the role
We would expect the successful Laboratory Administrator to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, be a strong communicator with an excellent eye for detail, with good administration skills. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within quality, development, or a testing position, from a production or manufacturing environment.
