How to contribute to our vision We are currently looking for a Site Manager to join our team based out of Lowestoft, United Kingdom. This role will eventually be SOV based for the EA3 projects, but until this project is live, the site manager will support with ramp up activities onshore. Responsible for daily site management and safety leadership for Service Operations of the offshore wind farm. Accountable for delivering the obligations of the customer contract in relation to the servicing and maintenance of the wind turbine generators at site, alongside the Key Performance Indicators of SGRE. Accountable for the Environment, Health and Safety of site operations and first point of contact within SGRE for any customer queries. Manages the team of back office support staff and offshore technicians and liaises with the wider business support functions. Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to: Lead all areas of Environment, Health and Safety matters and ensure a safe workplace for all in cooperation with EHS Specialists. Ensure site personnel are always working to updated and suitable isolation instructions and Safe Systems of Work. Act as overall manager to ensure the best possible operational performance for customers and delivery against agreed KPIs, reporting regularly to the Operations Management team. Line Manager for site personnel as defined in the site structure, including hiring & retention, people development and reward and performance management. Ensure a robust and accurate maintenance plan and forecast is updated on a weekly basis in cooperation with operational support. Lead Contractor Management for the site operations, managing subcontracts with both logistic and resourcing suppliers. Keep records, maintain documentation, follow safety procedures and report technical, safety issues and difficulties to the relevant individuals on site/back office and within the relevant systems. Responsible for end to end operational process at site to ensure that the necessary resources, materials, instructions and tools come together at the right time to fulfil the service contract. We are also looking for… This role requires proven experience within an Operational role ideally in a large and complex environment where you have delivered against objectives and targets. Drive to build and maintain motivated and committed teams, & environment. Building and managing customer relationships, navigating a complex organisation to ensure a highly positive customer experience will be beneficial. Understanding the standard safety, financial, operational performance metrics and how to influence them will be of advantage. Preferably the candidate will have experience or qualifications in either a mechanical or electrical discipline. This role will require to work onshore from the dedicated Operations & Maintenance site. There is also an expectation for offshore leadership visit once per month.
