As part of our 2025 early careers cohort, we are looking to hire a Graduate Rail Engineer in Bishop's Stortford, Manchester, and Wakefield.
About the role
You will be joining a hardworking and successful team specializing in Rail Engineering projects across the UK. The team works collaboratively and is growing rapidly. This role would be based in our Bishop's Stortford, Manchester, and Wakefield offices. One of our recent, successful projects is Hoo station. Pell Frischmann was a central member of Medway Council’s Housing Infrastructure Fund (HIF) delivery team, providing all the rail engineering-related and design scheme throughout GRIP 2 feasibility and GRIP 3 option selection.
On joining Pell Frischmann, you will become part of an expert, multidisciplinary team where you will gain training and experience in your chosen specialism. Additionally, you will be enrolled in our 2-year Graduate programme. This exciting programme is built around the competence requirements of professional institutions and is a great way to kickstart your career. You will have the opportunity to network with other graduates across the Group and develop key skills such as project management, business, and personal effectiveness.
Main duties
* Rail, Station, Depot, and Infrastructure design
* Checking and approval of designs and calculations
* Reporting progress to Clients
* Support and encourage staff in their professional development
* Contribute to business development activities
