Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead their HR function. You will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and the implementation of HR strategies. In this role, you will ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Additional Details
* Part-Time Role: 22.5 hours per week, either over three days or spread across five days.
* Hybrid Work: Minimum of 2 days per week in the central Oxford office.
Job Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the client’s vision and values.
2. Manage the full cycle of recruitment, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews, conducting first interviews, and making offers.
3. Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding, orientation, and training alongside line managers.
4. Provide guidance and support to line managers and employees on various HR issues such as performance management, employee wellbeing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and career development.
5. Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters in a fair and timely manner.
6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and maintain accurate, up-to-date HR records and documentation.
8. Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, participating in professional development opportunities as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
* CIPD qualification Level 5 or above, or a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience and Skills
* Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager or in a similar role. (HR Advisors will be considered)
* Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal frameworks.
* Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
