Inventory Investigator
Monday - Friday 10:00- 19:30 Saturdays on a rota
Harlow
We’re currently looking for an Operative to join us on a permanent basis in our Harlow depot to focus on stock and inventory. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a role with lots of variety, across a warehouse and office environment.
In this role your day will consist of 2 parts. In the morning you’ll be working as a member of the stock team, counting stock and checking and recording any discrepancies. You will cross reference customer accounts, process credits where required and check stock dates. In the afternoon you’ll be hands on in the warehouse, unloading vehicles as they return. You will be responsible for unloading cages and processing any returned stock - maintaining accurate records in relation to this using paper-based and electronic systems.
To join us in this role, you will have experience working within a busy warehouse environment and ideally have some experience counting and recording stock. You’ll have good numeracy and IT skills and be comfortable learning new software packages as well as being willing to undertake training to use the in-house LLOP’s. You’ll enjoy being part of a team and have good communication skills to build and maintain great working relationships with colleagues. You’ll have an eye for detail to maintain high levels of accuracy as well as the ability to organise your work effectively. Above all you will be customer focused and be willing to learn.
