Position: Registered Manager - Children's Home
Location: Sandwell
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

We are a specialist recruiter for children's residential providers and have partnered with a client who are a provider of high-quality residential care for children and young people in Sandwell. The Role:
Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the Ofsted-registered children's home, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of care staff, fostering a positive, supportive working environment.
* Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and welfare for our children and young people, tailoring support to meet individual needs.
* Work closely with local authorities, health professionals, and other agencies to promote the best outcomes for the children in our care.
* Manage budgets, implement policies, and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
* Be responsible for all statutory documentation, including incident reports, care plans, and regulatory notifications.
* Prepare for and participate in Ofsted inspections, striving to maintain or achieve an 'Outstanding' rating.
Key Requirements:
* Qualifications: Must hold or be working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (or equivalent).
* Experience: Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children's home, with a track record of managing Ofsted inspections.
* Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure.
* Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Ofsted regulations and child protection procedures.
