Position: Registered Manager - Children's Home Location: Sandwell Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Type: Full-Time, Permanent About Us: We are a specialist recruiter for children's residential providers and have partnered with a client who are a provider of high-quality residential care for children and young people in Sandwell. The Role: Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the Ofsted-registered children's home, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards. Lead, manage, and develop a team of care staff, fostering a positive, supportive working environment. Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and welfare for our children and young people, tailoring support to meet individual needs. Work closely with local authorities, health professionals, and other agencies to promote the best outcomes for the children in our care. Manage budgets, implement policies, and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery. Be responsible for all statutory documentation, including incident reports, care plans, and regulatory notifications. Prepare for and participate in Ofsted inspections, striving to maintain or achieve an 'Outstanding' rating. Key Requirements: Qualifications: Must hold or be working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (or equivalent). Experience: Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children's home, with a track record of managing Ofsted inspections. Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure.
