Description
I am a lady in my 50’s living in the Neath area. I suffer with MS, and have little to no mobility. I am a wheelchair user and have adaptive equipment in my home such as a hoist. I have a wheelchair accessible car, which the PA could use if they have a clean driving licence. I am looking for a PA to support me with accessing the community, walking my dog with me on occasion, support with meal preparation and feeding me if needed.
Purpose
Assistance with socialising and accessing the local community
Pushing my wheelchair
Support with attending appointments
Assistance with meal preparation and with feeding if needed
Help with using internet and support with correspondence
Help with food shopping
Any other reasonable duties
Person Type
A person who:
is a Car Driver
likes dogs
is reliable
is able to work flexibly on occasion
has a friendly and cheerful personality
Is good with technology.
Previous experience is preferred but not essential
Hours
3.5 hours every Tuesday.
Preferably between the hours of 9:30am and 1pm however, there is a degree of flexibility with these times and this can be discussed during interview if successful.

If requested by the employer, two satisfactory references must be provided. This post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.
Wages will be paid on a 4 weekly or monthly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.
You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.
You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
