The Senior Risk Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Risk team, the wider CRO function and the business in identifying, analysing, and mitigating operational risks, enhancing controls, and fostering a culture of proactive risk management. How you’ll spend your time: Risk Event oversight: Support the management of the risk event process, ensuring timely logging, investigation, root cause analysis, and remediation. Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to embed risk awareness and accountability. Supporting with risk identification, analysis and mitigation. Customer Outcomes: Advocate for a customer-centric approach in risk-related business decision-making. Risk reporting: Conduct regular analysis of risk data to identify trends, emerging risks, and areas for improvement. To thrive in this role, you’ll need to have: A good understanding of risk management principles and practices in a financial services environment. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across the organization. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex risk data. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively. Knowledge of FCA/PRA regulatory requirements related to risk management. Familiarity with the Consumer Duty framework and its implications on risk management. A strong work ethic, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
